Avoiding the Hit and Run
A person truly committed to people raising will not only be trained and prepared to ask for funds, but be committed to thanking and updating their donors. The opposite is what I refer to as the “hit and run”. What I mean by that is, a person who is great with asking for the funds but once the money is in hand, they are nowhere to be found. We can avoid that image of “hit and run” by truly being committed to those who are funding our ministry. Thank you letters and updates all are a vital part of people raising.

"As I read through "People Raising" it gave me confidence and a better way to approach potential donors. By focusing on my Top Ten list and using the "People Raising" principles, I raised just under $18,000 in less than a month. I would have had no idea where to start if it wasn't for People Raising."
