The Love Offering!

There is not a person involved in ministry that is willing to turn down a love offering and in no way am I suggesting that, but let me add this dimension to your thinking. The love offering is taken and numerous individuals have contributed to that offering. What typically takes place is the church gathers and counts the offering and then provides you a check. I'm sure you are very appreciative of the check but here is the missing element. All you have in your hands is that one check with no knowledge of the individuals that provided a gift. Whenever possible it would be to your advantage to have the church provide you a list of names and individuals and amounts of their gifts. I must admit in most cases this will not happen but I just want you to try and surface individuals that have an interest in you and can be followed up on your part.
