On occasion we find ourselves in a dilemma when we make contact with married couples and present our support need. I always begin with the ideal that of having both husband and wife at the appointment. This is effective for many reasons but one in particular if you meet just the wife and she then can't make a decision because she has to run it by her husband then if both are in attendance you have solved that particular problem. That's the ideal. But there are other scenarios, let me just name a few. For example the wife is not very happy to see her husband's money being given away when she has plans for it. In this particular scenario it might be wise to just meet with the husband. Another scenario is the husband is unsaved and has very little interest in Christian things or in giving. Under this scenario it might be wise to meet with the wife individually. Whatever the scenario, it's your pick!
